With just two games remaining this season, transfers are quickly becoming the focus for Liverpool and its rivals, with just over a couple of weeks until the first window opens for the Premier League.
Arne Slot and Richard Hughes will of course be planning for a defense of their title, and it could well be a busy summer for them, with plenty of big names already being linked.
This week has seen the rumor mill go into overdrive, with Jeremie Frimpong being heavily linked with a move to Anfield, and while he does appear to be the favorite to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold at this stage, it’s not quite the done deal that some have been suggesting yet.
And Frimpong is not the only Bayer Leverkusen star being linked with a move to Anfield. Florian Wirtz has been touted as a potential signing, although Liverpool.com understands reports of a meeting with club officials are wide of the mark.
Nevertheless, Wirtz is a player that interests Liverpool, which could make for an intriguing summer, especially with Alexander Isak continuing to be linked with a switch to Anfield.
