Arsenal have been linked with several big names this summer.

The Gunners need to have a successful transfer window after missing out on the Premier League title for the third season in a row.

New attackers will be the priority, and although all eyes will be on a striker, another winger will be just as important this summer.

Arsenal have been looking at several wide players ahead of the summer window, and the most exciting name so far is Real Madrid star Rodrygo Goes.

What Jude Bellingham has already said about Arsenal target Rodrygo Goes

Rodrygo could be on his way out of Real Madrid this summer.

The Brazilian was often overshadowed by Vinicius Junior in the Spanish capital, and Kylian Mbappe’s arrival last year has pushed him further down.

TBR Football exclusive revealed recently that Arsenal are getting excited that they could sign Rodrygo before the start of next season.

Some Gunners fans, however, are unsure about the Real Madrid man, but Jude Bellingham’s comments on him should convince everyone.

The Englishman claimed in February that Rodrygo is the most talented player at Real Madrid, ahead of the likes of Mbappe and Vinicius.

He told CBS Sports: “Rodrygo, so underrated, you know? For me, he’s probably the most talented and gifted player in the squad.

“I think the things he can do with the football… We’ll be messing around and he’ll flick the ball up somehow and you’re like: “How’d he do that?” I’m trying to do that, I’m twisting my ankles and everything like that. It’s a pleasure to play with both of them. You put them in positions where they can affect the games and they will win it for you.

“I think Rodrygo, another thing to mention, is that he’s the one who sacrifices the most, really. It’s clear that his favourite position is on the left. It’s important to note that he does a lot for the team defensively on the right side, which isn’t his favourite.

“But, he never complains, he just gets on with it and that’s the way we have to continue.”

“He’s probably the most gifted player in the squad.”

Should Arsenal sign Rodrygo?

Rodrygo has been at Real Madrid for nearly six years now, since he joined them from Santos in a £37 million deal (Guardian).

The Brazilian has played in some big games and has scored some important goals for the Galacticos over the years, but it may well be time for him to go somewhere else and become a superstar on his own.

Arsenal are in desperate need of a wide player this summer, and we think Rodrygo would be perfect for Mikel Arteta.

As Bellingham said, the attacker always sacrifices himself for the good of the team and also helps his side out defensively. To add to that, he is very versatile and can play across the front line.

The likes of Nico Williams and Rafael Leao are exciting options for Arsenal, but Rodrygo blows them all out of the water.

If a deal is possible, we think Arsenal should be all over it this summer.
