In a snap of a finger, we’re already at the last match of the 2024/25 Bundesliga season. A lot of ups and downs, but Bayern Munich wrestled the Meisterschale from Bayer Leverkusen and got the party going last weekend during Thomas Müller’s final home game. Bayern will want to end on a high note on what is their best season since the days of Jupp Heynckes’ legendary 2012/13 season.
Team News
There’s not a lot to change about the team, really. Just to maintain match fitness for the FIFA Club World Cup next month.
Manuel Neuer indicated his desire to play at the CWC, and after picking up a slight niggle after the Gladbach game, we’ll go for Jonas Urbig in goal. The defense will also be straightforward, consisting of Raphael Guerreiro, Eric Dier (Munich streets won’t forget), Kim Min-jae, and Josip Stanišić. The midfield will consist of Joshua Kimmich and Aleksandar Pavlović, with Kingsley Coman, Thomas Muller, and Michael Olise sitting behind Harry Kane.
