Leicester City legend Jamie Vardy is set to play his final match for the club when Ipswich Town visit in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The Foxes have announced that the veteran will not feature on the South Coast versus Bournemouth next week, meaning that this weekend’s match will be his 500th and last appearance for the East Midlands outfit.
The 38-year-old will be front and centre in the Leicester attack, with Bilal El Khannous and Kasey McAteer likely operating on the flanks for the hosts.
There could be an alteration in the attacking-midfield role, though, where Jordan Ayew might be dropped to the bench to accommodate loanee Facundo Buonanotte.
The Argentine attacker netted the equalising goal at the City Ground versus Nottingham Forest last time out and will feel he deserves a spot in the XI.
Further back in the engine room, Oliver Skipp is enjoying an extended run in the team, helped by the absence of Harry Winks due to an internal disciplinary issue.
Looking to secure back-to-back home clean sheets for the first time this season, Conor Coady and Wout Faes will provide plenty of experience at the heart of defence.
Leicester City possible starting lineup: Stolarczyk; Justin, Coady, Faes, Thomas; Ndidi, Skipp, McAteer, Buonanotte, El Khannous; Vardy
