TBR Football can exclusively reveal that West Ham United are preparing to part ways with Mohammed Kudus this summer, with talks over a potential exit expected to accelerate in the coming weeks.

The Ghana international is one of several players likely to leave the Hammers as Graham Potter reshapes the squad in his image.

West Ham are aiming to overhaul the team this summer, and as per sources, Kudus is among the most valuable assets the club are willing to cash in on.

There has been interest in the player from several Premier League clubs. Arsenal are linked with a move for Kudus while Liverpool’s interest in Kudus is a long-standing one.

However, TBR Football understands that the Saudi Pro League are currently the frontrunners for his signature.

Saudi Pro League most likely to sign Arsenal and Liverpool target Mohammed Kudus

TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey has been informed that Saudi Pro League clubs are preparing to make a formal approach to sign Kudus, viewing him as a marquee addition for the summer window.

He has an £84 million release clause in his contract, although sources believe that a bid of around £65 million to £70 million would be enough to convince West Ham to sell.

Kudus’ expected exit is part of a wider West Ham plan to refresh the squad.

TBR Football understands that the Hammers hope to bring in up to six new players, which will require a number of sales to generate funds and free up squad space.

Tomas Soucek is another player who could depart, with TBR Football reporting that his representatives are exploring domestic options, while Lucas Paqueta is also tipped to move on once his situation becomes clearer.

Mohammed Kudus’ time at West Ham

The 24-year-old joined West Ham from Ajax in 2023 and made an immediate impact in the Premier League.

He registered an impressive 18 goals and 10 assists in 48 appearances across all competitions during his debut season, quickly becoming a standout performer.

His displays drew widespread praise, with Liverpool manager Arne Slot even describing Kudus as ‘incredible‘.

However, Kudus has struggled to replicate that form this season. A turbulent campaign marked by managerial changes has seen West Ham underperform collectively, with the club currently sitting 15th in the table on just 40 points.

As a result, the Hammers are planning a major squad overhaul this summer, with the club viewing it as essential to rebuilding under new boss Graham Potter.
