Danica Patrick’s journey as a broadcaster has not been great, but the former IndyCar series winner continues to be an integral part of many racing events. After being the pundit and color analyst of Sky Sports’ F1 team, she has been added as one of the analysts for the upcoming Indy 500 series event. Danica Patrick joins legendary racer Tony Stewart as the pre-race booth analyst for the 2025 Indianapolis 500 series. The broadcast team of Indy 500 event 2025 includes fresh and old faces as well.

Though Danica Patrick and Tony Stewart have experience as analysts, fans have given mixed responses especially for Danica Patrick. Netizens feel Patrick has been a successful racer, but when it comes to broadcasting some feel she is not needed. Supporters of Danica Patrick have given thumbs up and welcome her to the coverage team of Fox Sports. The contract of Danica Patrick’s F1 and Indy 500 remains private.

2025 Indy 500 Broadcast Team – Names Revealed

Fox Sports is the new home for the Indy 500 series in 2025. The broadcast team has been revealed and it has some big names as well as the regular names. Apart from Danica Patrick and Tony Stewart, the upcoming Indy 500 broadcast team has reporters Tom Rinaldi and Erin Andrews. Will Buxton is the lead commentator and Chris Myers will be the pre-race host. James Hinchcliffe will be a member of the booth as a color commentator.

Jamie Little and Kevin Lee will continue as pit reporters. Both Danica Patrick and Tony Stewart will remain as analysts for pre/post-race. Tony Stewart has won the NASCAR Cup series three times and he also won the 1997 IndyCar series. Danica Patrick is the only woman to have won the IndyCar series in history.

Are Fans Happy With the Inclusion of Danica Patrick in the Broadcast Team of Indy 500?

Danica Patrick’s stint as a broadcaster has not been successful like her racing career. When the Fox Sports team announced the coverage team for Indy 500, fans began their rage. Many were not happy with Patrick’s inclusion as her commentary stint has not been great and some feel she doesn’t have experience. On the other hand, Danica Patrick’s comments on upcoming female F1 talents received hate last year and this can be another reason as well.

Get a driver that is actually relevant to the Indy 500.” A section of netizens deems Danica Patrick is not the right person, but her fans support her and are happy to see her join the team and are waiting to listen to her insights on racing.
