Crystal Palace is aiming to win the first major trophy in the club’s 120-year history as it takes on Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
Palace finished as runners-up in the competition in 1990 and 2016, losing to Manchester United in both finals, and will be hoping it’s third time lucky against Manchester’s other team on Sunday.
As for City, it has experienced a relatively disappointing season, and still faces a fight to finish inside the Premier League’s top five. That represents a significant dip by the Etihad Stadium club’s high standards, considering it won the league in each of the previous four seasons.

Pep Guardiola reported no fresh injuries during his pre-game press conference, but long-term absentees Rodri, Nathan Ake, John Stones and Oscar Bobb remain sidelined.
Rodri recently returned to training after sustaining a serious knee injury last September, and Guardiola was asked when he might return. “He is much, much better,” Guardiola said. “I will, speak to doctors. When he is ready, he will start. We don’t want to tackle a step back now.”

City faces a crucial game in its fight to qualify for the Champions League three days on from the cup final, against Bournemouth in the Premier League.
Guardiola was asked about the prospect of Kevin De Bruyne figuring in both games; the Belgian has been excellent in recent weeks but he has experienced fitness injuries over the last couple of seasons, so there could be concerns about overloading him.
“I am thinking just about tomorrow’s game,” Guardiola said. “We then have a final on Tuesday against Bournemouth. We pick the team that is best to beat them.”
As for Palace, Adam Wharton is available once more after missing the Eagles’ recent win over Tottenham with an ankle problem, but long-term absentees Chadi Riad and Cheick Doucoure remain sidelined.
