Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has revealed that his side did not pick up any fresh injury concerns during Friday night’s Premier League contest with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Amorim selected a stronger-than-expected XI against Chelsea, with a number of players who are set to start the Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur included from the first whistle.
However, Man United were unable to pick up a positive result, with Marc Cucurella‘s header securing all three points for Chelsea.
There was positive news in the aftermath of the clash, though, as no fresh injury issues have been reported, while Ayden Heaven made his return from an ankle issue off the bench in the second period.
“I felt that, in the end, we will get all the players,” Amorim told reporters. “I think they are okay.
“In every game, you can understand it helps me a lot to choose the starting XI for the final. So we will see. Yes, there’s nothing. Of course, Luke [Shaw] and Mason [Mount] were guys we need to take care of. The other guys are fine.”

Man United did not suffer any fresh injuries against Chelsea
Lisandro Martinez and Joshua Zirkzee are both definitely out of the Europa League final, but Matthijs de Ligt, Leny Yoro and Diogo Dalot all have chances of being available for the contest.
De Ligt has been dealing with a knee issue of late, while Yoro worryingly limped off the field against West Ham United in the Premier League last weekend, and Amorim has admitted that he is concerned about the Frenchman.
Dalot, meanwhile, has recently been missing due to a calf problem, but Amorim said earlier this month that the Portugal international is “doing everything to recover” in time for the showdown with Spurs.
Amorim is expected to make a final decision on the trio at the start of next week.

Amorim “really confident” of success in Europa League final
The Man United boss also said that he is “really confident” that his side will get the job done on Wednesday evening in order to lift major silverware and secure a position in the 2025-26 Champions League.
“Of course, we have to believe. I am really confident. I feel that my players are ready for this game. They know what it means, not just for us but for our fans and for the club. After this season, we are ready to fight for the one thing that can help us remember this season in a different way,” he told reporters.
“So I am really confident. We are living a season that is really strange because we are doing so well in Europe but, in the Premier League, we struggle.
“But we will be prepared for the final. It’s a different context and a different game. The most important thing is the change in mentality in my team. They compete and that is the most important thing for me.”
Man United are 16th in the Premier League table, one point above 17th-placed Tottenham, who will enter the Europa League final off the back of a 2-0 reverse to Aston Villa.
