No surprise there. The Frenchman has taken the German top flight by storm.

Well this was hardly a shocker. Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise has officially wrapped up Bundesliga Rookie of the Season honors.

Since arriving from Crystal Palace, Olise has torn it up for the German record champions, playing a big role in helping Bayern reclaim the Bundesliga crown this season with some room to spare.

Olise’s Crystal Palace form turned heads and earned him a move to Bayern — but he only elevated his game since, with his league goals (12) and assists (15) this season both career highs.

And in the season finale at TSG Hoffenheim, Olise shone bright. Our MOTM, the Frenchman dazzled with a spectacular free kick, assist, and lethal involvement in every phase of the match.

At 23 years of age, there is clearly much more to come still from Bayern’s prodigious new talent. What a find!
