West Ham United entertained Nottingham Forest at the London Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Hammers made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 11th minute when Morgan Gibbs-White found the back of the net. Graham Potter’s men failed to come up with a response and went into the half-time interval 1-0 down on the scoreline.

Nikola Milenkovic doubled Nottingham’s advantage in the 61st minute. West Ham got a goal back thanks to Jarrod Bowen’s effort in the 86th minute. However, the East London club ended up suffering a tough 2-1 defeat in front of their home fans.

Let’s take a look at how each West Ham United player fared during the clash against Nottingham.

GK: Alphonse Areola – 6/10

He pulled off a few solid saves at the back but made a poor error during the game.

CB: Jean-Clair Todibo – 7/10

Todibo performed his defensive duties well and made one good run with the ball.

CB: Max Kilman – 6.5/10

Kilman put his foot through the ball when he could and was a strong presence in the air.

CB: Aaron Cresswell – 6/10

He struggled to keep things solid defensively and was replaced in the 57th minute.

CM: James Ward-Prowse – 6.5/10

Ward-Prowse anchored the midfield well and made one good decent chance in the final third.

CM: Guido Rodriguez – 6.5/10

He offered solid protection for his teammates at the back and was accurate with his passing.

LW: Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 7/10

Wan-Bissaka came back to defend when required and made one driving run with the ball.

CAM: Tomas Soucek – 6.5/10

He helped his teammates out defensively but lacked quality in the Nottingham half.

ST: Jarrod Bowen – 7/10

Bowen was a constant menace in the final third and managed to get his name on the scoresheet late in the game.

ST: Mohammed Kudus – 6.5/10

He caught the eye at times up top but there was no goal for him.

Substitutes:

CM: Edson Alvarez – 6/10

He added some bite and steel to Potter’s midfield.

ST: Niclas Fullkrug – 6.5/10

Fullkrug was a real handful in the final third.

CAM: Lucas Paqueta – 6/10

He made one encouraging run with the ball.

Soler managed to engineer a few inviting chances for others around him.

ST: Luis Guilherme – 6.5/10
