Galatasaray getting serious on Boey? (Sports Digitale via @iMiaSanMia)

According to a report from Turkish outlet Sports Digitale journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, Galatasaray is “in contact” with both Bayern Munich and Sacha Boey about a move:

Galatasaray are in contact with Sacha Boey and with Bayern. The Turkish side will submit an offer at the end of the season to loan the player with an option to buy. Bayern, meanwhile, are demanding €20-25m from potential buyers – a figure that Galatasaray are unwilling to pay.

As of now, it looks as if Bayern Munich plans to go with Konrad Laimer and Josip Stanišić as its primary right-backs for next season with Raphaël Guerreiro as a deep reserve. Boey never really got his feet on the ground in Bavaria as injuries have killed any momentum he has tried to build. When healthy, Boey just has not impressed enough (particularly compared to the whopping €30 million Bayern Munich paid for him in January of 2024), so now he could be on his way out.

It is also possible that Bayern Munich adds a right-back in the transfer market, which would further solidify the club’s willingness to sell off Boey.

Šeško, Simons to bail on Leipzig after failing to qualify for UCL (ESPN)

Rumored Bayern Munich transfer targets Benjamin Šeško and Xavi Simons are expected to attempt to leave RB Leipzig this summer after the club failed to qualify for Champions League:

Forward Benjamin Šeško and attacking midfielder Xavi Simons are both expected to leave RB Leipzig in the next transfer window, reports Fabrizio Romano. The Bundesliga club’s failure to qualify for Europe is said to be one of the key factors in both looking to leave, with teams in the Premier League watching their situation. Šeško, 21, has been linked with Arsenal lately, while 22-year-old Simons has reportedly been on Manchester United’s radar.

The timing for Bayern Munich to get Šeško is likely off by a year since Harry Kane will be back for the 2025/26 campaign, but Simons is a name to watch. Should Bayern Munich fail to reach an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen for Florian Wirtz, Simons could become a primary target for the Bavarians.

Bavarian Podcast Works — Flagship Show: Season 7, Episode 43 (Bavarian Football Works)

Bayern Munich’s season is over, but the real work might just be beginning.

This is a crucial offseason for the Bavarians and the coaching staff and front office will be hard at work to try and maneuver the roster in a way that will set up the squad for the 2025/26 campaign. We have a lot to say about that, so let’s get to it.

This is what we have on tap for the Bavarian Podcast Works Show:

  • How should we view this season…and what did we learn?
  • The standard must be — and will be — higher next season.
  • Is there reason to think that Harry Kane might see out his contract…or even stay longer?
  • Bayern Munich has key decisions to make in the coming weeks as Dayot Upamecano, Leroy Sané, Sacha Boey, and João Palhinha are among the players where movement is possible (in one way or another). Let’s break those situations down.
  • Is this a Florian Wirtz-free podcast? Almost, but not quite.
  • Some notes about the Bavarian Podcast Works summer schedule.

Rodrygo’s exit at Real imminent? (ESPN)

Despite his own implications that he wants to stay with Real Madrid, is Rodrygo thinking about an exit? Maybe:

Rodrygo is “on the edge of a cliff” at Real Madrid, according to Diario AS, which says Arda Güler has now won his place in the starting XI, and this summer would be the “ideal time” to move Rodrygo on. A contract until 2028 means Madrid could demand a significant fee — perhaps around €100m — from any interested parties. Rodrygo’s future will now depend on Madrid’s new coach, expected to be Xabi Alonso, but if he approves a departure, the newspaper claims the Brazil forward would be open to it, with Manchester City and Arsenal both linked in recent days.

Bella-Kotchap to Gladbach? (@Plettigoal)

Former Bayern Munich transfer target Armel Bella-Kotchap could be on his way to Borussia Mönchengladbach:

Armel Bella-Kotchap is pushing for a move this summer. Borussia Mönchengladbach have added him to their shortlist!

In an exclusive interview with Sky, he told

@kerry_hau: “A return to the Bundesliga is definitely an option for me. People there know what I’m capable of. The Bundesliga is a very attractive destination.”

Barca might need to up offer to Raphinha (ESPN)

Raphinha isn’t happy with some elements of Barcelona’s contract offer, which could open the door to a mega-money offer from the Saudi Pro League. Al Hilal have reportedly already made a highly lucrative offer for the Brazil international, who would prefer to reach an agreement with the LaLiga club. Diario Sport reports that the 28-year-old, who has two years remaining on his deal, considers there to be “significant differences” between the offer on the table and what he expects. Barça’s proposal is a one-year extension, with a year’s option, but the player wants a full deal through to 2030, when he would be moving toward his 33rd birthday. Raphinha is also unhappy with the salary, but the club are prepared to insert an attractive release clause of just €80m.

Bavarian Podcast Works — Postgame Show: Hoffenheim 0-4 Bayern Munich (Bavarian Football Works)

Bayern Munich traveled to Hoffenheim for Thomas Müller’s final Bundesliga game with the club and the Bavarians sent him out a winner with a 4-0 victory.

Bayern Munich closes this Bundesliga chapter as champions once again, so let’s talk about how it all played out on the Bavarian Podcast Works — Postgame Show. This is what we have on tap:

  • A look at the starting XI.
  • A rundown of the scoring and substitutions.
  • Tom Bischoff and Thomas Müller each got a deserved send off while leaving the pitch.
  • Some final thoughts and takeaways on the match.
  • So…where we do we all go from here?

Upamecano not sweating future (@iMiaSanMia)

Bayern Munich defender Dayot Upamecano does not seem overly concerned about his ongoing contract talks. At Sunday’s celebration, Upamecano seemed quite cool about it all.

“Today I’m not thinking about that. Today I’m celebrating with my team, and we’ll see what happens in the future. Max is speaking to my agent. Everything’s fine,” Upamecano remarked.

PSG wants Camavinga (Defensa Central via ESPN)

Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly interested in Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga:

PSG could move for Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, with head coach Luis Enrique sure that the 21-year-old would be perfect for his system. Camavinga is facing an uncertain future at the Bernabeu and could move on.

United looking at Hudson-Odoi (ESPN)

Nottingham Forest has had quite the season, but could lose former Bayern Munich transfer target Callum Hudson-Odoi (remember that craziness). Manchester United is reportedly interested in the attacker:

Manchester United are looking for a new forward and are tracking Nottingham Forest’s Callum Hudson-Odoi and Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo. Sky Sports claims that Hudson-Odoi, 24, has caught the eye of manager Ruben Amorim with his five goals and three assists in 29 Premier League games, but that Roma and Napoli are also interested. Meanwhile, TalkSPORT has revealed that Semenyo is also on United’s radar. The Ghana international has been a revelation for the Cherries this season, with 14 goal involvements from his 35 Premier League appearances and is under contract at Bournemouth until June 2029. Sources have also told ESPN that United will step up their interest in Southampton midfielder Tyler Dibling if they secure Champions League qualification by beating Tottenham in the Europa League final.

Gunners make Gyökeres their top target (ESPN)

As has been rumored, Arsenal FC is making Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyökeres its primary target of the summer:

Arsenal have made Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyökeres their No. 1 transfer target this summer, the Daily Mirror has revealed. The Sweden international is at the top of a three-man shortlist alongside Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak and RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Šeško, with the Gunners’ interest spearheaded by new sporting director Andrea Berta. Arsenal have been informed that a bid of £60 million will be sufficient to secure Gyökeres, who’ll likely command a weekly wage of at least £200,000. Other Arsenal transfer targets include Athletic Club winger Nico Williams and Espanyol goalkeeper Joan García.
