Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott has hinted he could leave Anfield this summer to find regular playing time elsewhere.
Elliott, who joined Liverpool from Fulham in 2019, has made 146 competitive appearances for the Merseyside club, scoring 15 goals and providing 20 assists.
The 22-year-old has started 27 of his 53 matches in Jurgen Klopp‘s final season in charge, but he has experienced a decrease in playing time under current Liverpool boss Arne Slot.
Elliott has started just six of 27 appearances in all competitions this season, including two starts in 17 Premier League matches.
The attacking midfielder was included in the lineup for Monday’s Premier League clash against Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium, where he scored the opening goal to help Liverpool establish a 2-1 lead at the break.

However, the Seagulls fought back in the second period to condemn Elliott and his teammates to a 3-2 defeat, meaning they have gone three games without a win since they won the league title with a 5-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
Speaking after the game, Elliott hinted that he may have to consider his Liverpool future following his lack of game time this season.
“You try not to get too carried away with the celebrations, we’ve worked really hard through the season,” Elliott told Sky Sports.
“Some lads like myself haven’t played as much, and it’s about going out and enjoying it. We want to win and enjoy it. We need to take the positives and take it into the final game next week.
“I think I’ve done it this season. It’s been hard with how much I’ve played. I’ve tried as hard as I could, and whatever happens, happens.
“It’s about what’s best for my career. It’s about reflecting and seeing what I can do. I’m here at the moment and I’m focusing on the final game.”

Who is showing interest in Elliott?
Elliott will hope to get more minutes in Liverpool’s final game of the Premier League season against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
The England Under-21 international may then assess his future despite having two years left to run on his contract at Anfield.
Wolverhampton Wanderers are among those who could offer Elliott a potential exit route this summer, with Vitor Pereira‘s side believed to be showing concrete interest ahead of the transfer window.
Nottingham Forest are also believed to be in the mix, having identified Elliott as a potential replacement for Morgan Gibbs-White.
