Last summer, Tottenham tried to sign the player, were considering to trigger the release clause but then the salary was considered too high and also, the clause was mainly to be payed in one solution so that was a problem.”
“Tottenham decided not to do that deal, he remains a player they love but my understanding is it’s probably going to be difficult to be able to get him this summer, also because Crystal Palace still hope to keep the player at the club to play European football.”
