The roster is starting to take shape for the German national team as injuries are pushing some issues, while other decisions are starting to leak.

Let’s see what we know at this point…

Kleindienst out

Borussia Mönchengladbach striker Tim Kleindienst will miss the the UEFA National League Final Four due to a knee injury per @iMiaSanMia:

Tim Kleindienst will be sidelined for several months with a knee injury and will therefore miss the Nations League Final Four.

This is a killer.

Kleindienst started to really gain some momentum with his play under Julian Nagelsmann for Die Mannschaft and his big presence in the box will be missed.

Anton to return?

According to Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, Borussia Dortmund center-back Waldemar Anton could be rewarded for his stellar recent play with a return to the national team:

Waldemar Anton is on the verge of a comeback to the German national team! #BVB Julian Nagelsmann wants to call him up.

X account @iMiaSanMia captured more from Sky Sport:

Waldemar Anton will make his return to the national team for the Nations League Final Four following the injuries to Nico Schlotterbeck, who’s definitely out, and Antonio Rüdiger, who remains a doubt.

Hübner to join Nagelsmann’s staff?

Per Plettenberg, Hoffenheim assistant coach and former defender Benjamin Hübner could replace Sandro Wagner on Nagelsmann’s staff:

⏳ Benjamin Hübner is set to become Julian Nagelsmann’s new assistant coach!

… to replace Sandro Wagner after the Nations League Final Four in June.

Hübner is currently Nagelsmann’s preferred candidate, and he is keen on joining the DFB. Talks between the DFB and TSG Hoffenheim are ongoing.

Alfred Schreuder remains on the list and is open to making the move. It is also possible that, alongside Hübner, another experienced assistant could be brought in in the future.

Pavlović getting called back

Plettenberg chimed back in to say that Bayern Munich midfielder Aleksandar Pavlović was going to get another call to the national team:

Aleksandar #Pavlovic is returning to the German national team!

Julian Nagelsmann will call him up for the Nations League Final Four.

He’s recently been a regular starter for FC Bayern again and is in top form.

Bayern Munich’s season is over, but we have plenty to talk about. Let’s discuss how we feel about the season and why fan expectations will be higher in 2025/26. We’ll also hit on Harry Kane’s statements, which seem to indicate that he could extend his contract, while also giving a breakdown of Bayern Munich’s big contract/transfer situations. Finally, we touch on Uli Hoeneß proving he has not lost a step with the media as he provided some commentary on the Florian Wirtz transfer saga.
