Danica Patrick never wanted to become a model, but her successful stint in racing caught the eyes of popular magazines including the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. Danica Patrick was a pop culture icon even as a rookie and she featured as a cover model on FHM magazine’s Miss March in the 2004 edition.

Danica Patrick appeared twice in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit magazine in 2008 and 2009. In 2008, Patrick’s images were captured by Ben Watts. Patrick sported a white outfit and it was set in Singer Island, Florida. The 2008 SI swimsuit magazine featured Patrick in four pages. Patrick was again one of the models of SI Swimsuit Issue in 2009 and she went to New York City for the photoshoot.

In 2009, Patrick was the only athlete to feature on the cover of SI Swimsuit. Danica Patrick is one among popular athletes to feature in their magazine. After appearing on their cover, Danica Patrick revealed she would like to become a full-time model. In 2025, she joined the Fox Sports Broadcast team as an analyst for the Indy 500 series.
