Manchester City will clash heads with Fulham at Craven Cottage this Sunday afternoon as they look to secure a win on the road in the Premier League. The Mancunian side managed to earn a 3-1 win over Bournemouth recently which should keep them in good spirits ahead of this game.

Pep Guardiola could opt for the 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make one change to his first XI for this game. Jeremy Doku will get a chance to play from the start of this contest while Jack Grealish once again has to settle for a spot on the bench.

Defence

Ederson will feature in between the sticks for Man City after shipping in one goal in his last league outing. Ruben Dias will resume his partnership with Manuel Akanji at the centre of the Man City backline as they try to keep things solid at the back during the game.

Matheus Nunes will continue to function as the right-back while Josko Gvardiol hopes to catch the eye on the other flank as the left-back.

Nathan Ake will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench. However, John Stones will be sidelined for this clash due to an adductor injury.

Midfield

Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan will anchor the midfield for the Mancunian giants as they try to retain possession well at the centre of the park and engineer a few clear-cut chances for their teammates up top.

The talented trio of Omar Marmoush, Kevin De Bruyne and Jeremy Doku will operate just ahead of them as part of Guardiola’s attack. All three of them need to combine well if Man City are to come on top at Craven Cottage this weekend.

Rodri, Jack Grealish and Phil Foden will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if required. However, Mateo Kovacic is suspended for this game.

Attack

Erling Haaland will once again lead the charge for Man City up top. The Norwegian striker has to find a way to be a constant menace in the final third if the Mancunian club want to finish this campaign with a win.
