Buckle up, Bayern Munich fans…
According to a report from Sport Bild journalists Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl has his summer plans approved by the club’s supervisory board:
Max Eberl has had all of his summer plans approved by the supervisory board last week. Eberl is being given the benefit of the doubt, but will be judged after the transfer window closes on September 1st. The supervisory board gave him the green light to sign Jonathan Tah.
The board members also expressed their understanding for Eric Dier’s rejection of Bayern’s contract, since Monaco offered him a 3-year deal. Talks with Dayot Upamecano over a new contract are still ongoing. As for Kim Min-jae, the club has decided to wait for offers from abroad.
This should be good news for Bayern Munich fans — if Eberl plans are ultimately, well, good. Facing some tough decisions in the coming weeks, at least Eberl knows he has the backing of his superiors.
