Manchester United are reportedly open to offers for all players following their devastating defeat in the Europa League final. No player is said to be safe from being offloaded – even captain Bruno Fernandes – as United grapple with a significant financial shortfall.
The crushing 1-0 loss to Tottenham in Bilbao cost United a spot in next season’s Champions League – and with it, $134 million in revenue. The defeat to Spurs means that United will not participate in European football next season, only the second time in 35 years, leading to further cutbacks at a club already dealing with mass redundancies.
United’s stumble in Bilbao also jeopardises their chances of securing top summer targets, including Liam Delap, Matheus Cunha, and Victor Osimhen. Without the extra income from European matches, United will be forced to sell players to raise funds for Ruben Amorim to bolster his squad – which has cost around $1.134 billion to assemble in recent transfer windows – assuming he survives the chop after a disastrous season.
High-profile stars such as Casemiro, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw, Andre Onana, Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund, Kobbie Mainoo, and Fernandes are all up for grabs to the highest bidders.
United are keen to part ways with Marcus Rashford, Antony and Jadon Sancho, all of whom are currently plying their trade on loan at other clubs. Rashford is eager to sever ties with United following a fallout with Amorim and the club, and has his sights set on a move to Barcelona, reports the Mirror US.
Garnacho, incensed at being omitted from United’s starting eleven against Tottenham despite playing a crucial role in their journey to the final, has caught the attention of Napoli and Chelsea.

England winger Sancho, currently on loan at Chelsea, will return to United this summer, but is expected to be sold as one of the club’s top earners, alongside Rashford.
The major squad revamp this summer will be overseen by United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, chief executive Omar Berrada, and technical director Jason Wilcox.
The Red Devils have a two-game post-season tour of Malaysia and Hong Kong lined up immediately after Sunday’s season finale against Aston Villa at Old Trafford.
However, upon their return to Manchester, the United brass will commence the task of reshaping the squad and generating funds to offset the absence of European football next season.
