Criticism towards Ruben Amorim has only increased further and doubts surrounding his future have grown, although the Portuguese boss seems confident that he’ll be in charge next year.

Bruno Fernandes hints at Man United exit
After five years at the club and being handed the captain’s armband, Bruno Fernandes’ time in Manchester could be up as he hinted at a possible move in his post-match interview with TNT Sports.
After the defeat to Spurs he said: “I’ve never been focused on the financial side, if I want to go because of the financial side I will always have the option to go but that’s not the thing.
“I think what I want is to win trophies and be involved in the best competitions but, obviously, next season we won’t have that chance.”
The Portuguese international has 19 goals and as many assists in all competitions this season, suggesting that he still has the ability to compete at the top level as many clubs from around the world keep close tabs on him.
Which clubs want Fernandes?
Fernandes leaving Man United was a rarely-debated topic as he has never showed any desire to depart, but after a torrid season and his comments after the game, the possibility of it happening continues to grow as clubs keep a close eye on what he decides to do.
As the player himself mentioned, he is not short of big money offers, with a number of sides in the Saudi Pro League rumoured to be interested, with Al-Hilal one of these.
Due to previously being seen as largely unattainable, no European club has been rumoured with a move, although this will likely change if the story develops.
