Manchester United will welcome Aston Villa at Old Trafford this Sunday as they look to secure a victory at home in the Premier League. The Red Devils suffered a disappointing 1-0 loss at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Europa League final recently which has drained their confidence ahead of this game.

Ruben Amorim will set his players up in a 3-4-2-1 formation once again and is expected to make a few changes to his first team for this clash. Manuel Ugarte, Alejandro Garnacho and Victor Lindelof could all play from the start of this game.

Defence

Andre Onana will operate in goal for the Red Devils after conceding one goal in his last appearance. Amorim could opt for a back three of Ayden Heaven, Victor Lindelof and Noussair Mazraoui for this game. All three of them need to be at their best if Manchester United are to stand a chance of claiming something from this game.

Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Manuel Ugarte and Casemiro will anchor the midfield for Man United as they try to make life difficult for the opposition at the centre of the park.

Amad Diallo will try to catch the eye on the right flank while Patrick Dorgu looks to prove his worth as the left-sided wide player.

Both Bruno Fernandes and Alejandro Garnacho will operate as the attacking midfielders as they try to cause some problems for the Man United defenders.

Kobbie Mainoo, Diogo Dalot and Christian Eriksen will be named on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Rasmus Hojlund will lead the charge for the Red Devils in the final third. He would be eager to put in a good performance after another lackluster display in midweek.

Joshua Zirkzee will have to settle for a spot on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if Man United are in need of a goal by then.
