Chelsea will lock horns with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground this Sunday afternoon as they look to secure maximum points on the road in the Premier League. The Blues secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Manchester United recently which should give them a lot of confidence ahead of this game.

Enzo Maresca will set his team up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and could keep changes to a minimum for this game. Hence, we can once again expect to see Tyrique George lead the charge for the West London club up top.

4-2-3-1 Chelsea Predicted Lineup To Face Nottingham Forest

Defence

Robert Sanchez will feature in between the sticks for the Blues after he kept a clean sheet in his last league appearance. Tosin Adarabioyo will operate alongside Levi Colwill at the centre of the Chelsea defence as they look to maintain a good defensive shape at the back during the 90 minutes.

Reece James will try to impress as the right-back while Marc Cucurella hopes to give a good account of himself on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to get forward and express themselves in the opponent’s half.

Malo Gusto and Benoit Badiashile will have to be content with a place on the bench as they provide cover for the defensive positions.

Midfield

Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez will anchor the midfield for Chelsea as they try to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park.

The gifted trio of Pedro Neto, Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke will function just ahead of them as part of Maresca’s attack. All three of them need to move the ball well if they want to create enough chances for Chelsea to win this clash.

Romeo Lavia and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall will have to settle for a place on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Tyrique George will spearhead Maresca’s attack up top. He has to find a way to be a real threat in the final third.

Jadon Sancho will be available for selection on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the latter stages of the game if required.
