Jarrod Bowen twice moved his wedding to make himself available for England duty… only to be left out by manager Thomas Tuchel.
The West Ham captain has been dropped for next month’s Three Lions matches against Andorra and Senegal.

Bowen previously featured in both of Tuchel’s first two World Cup qualifiers in charge back in March.
However, he will not be adding to his tally of one goal in 16 caps on June 7 and 10.
Tuchel revealed his 26-man squad on Friday, with Chelsea’s Noni Madueke preferred to Bowen.
Phil Foden was also left out following a request from the Man City midfielder, while there was a return for Saudi Pro League star Ivan Toney.
Bowen’s omission comes despite him planning his wedding around the upcoming internationals.
The West Ham skipper is set to wed partner Dani Dyer on May 31 after twice changing the date of their planned nuptials.
The couple had initially hoped to tie the knot in 2026, but rescheduled to this summer due to the World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the USA.
Dyer – daughter of actor and West Ham fan Danny, who once told talkSPORT he loves Bowen more than his wife – revealed their scheduling issues in January on the Live and Let Dyers podcast, explaining: “We had to move the wedding forward anyway because there’s England games in June.
“This was the problem. I would have liked to have left it one more year and then done it in 2026 but if there’s a World Cup how can I plan a wedding around a potential World Cup?
“Imagine he got called to the World Cup and then his wedding was booked.”
Instead, Bowen and Dyer will now wed in eight days’ time, with the 28-year-old’s stag do in Las Vegas planned for next weekend.
His absence from the squad comes despite another standout season for the Hammers.
Bowen’s 13 goals and nine assists in 35 appearances this term is more than any other player at the club.
He has also provided nine goal contributions in his last 11 Premier League matches.
Meanwhile, Madueke makes his return to the squad in place of Bowen despite accumulating just two across the same period.
Responding to the decision, West Ham boss Graham Potter told reporters: “Well, it is not my thing to pick that squad. I have full respect for the England manager.

“[I’m] disappointed for Jarrod, but we will support him and he’ll carry on doing what he’s doing for us.
“He will be naturally disappointed. Of course, every player wants to play for their country. He has trained well for us and he will be looking forward to the game [on Sunday].”
Bowen made his England debut in 2022 under Gareth Southgate and was part of last summer’s Euros squad.
He later started Tuchel’s second match in charge against Latvia in March, having played 16 minutes off the bench against Albania three days earlier.
The former Chelsea boss will oversee a World Cup qualifier against Andorra in Barcelona and a friendly with Senegal at the City Ground in the final international break of the season.
