Crystal Palace had a Saturday they had always dreamed of last week, as they beat Manchester City to win the FA Cup at Wembley.

The Eagles had never won a trophy in their entire history, but after overcoming Pep Guardiola’s side, the squad became club legends.

Eberechi Eze’s goal sent the Palace half of Wembley crazy before they managed to hold off a Man City onslaught and claim the title.

Plenty of tears were shed in the stands and on the pitch as the club won silverware for the first time in almost 120 years.

It means there is going to be an incredible celebration when the FA Cup trophy is paraded around the local area by the squad and staff.

Here are all the details ahead of the club’s plans…

When is Crystal Palace’s trophy parade?

Palace’s FA Cup trophy parade takes place on Monday, May 26.

That is just a day after the Eagles’ final Premier League game of the season against Liverpool at Anfield.

The open-top bus parade is scheduled to begin at around 1pm on Monday, with it lasting for 45 minutes and ending at Selhurst Park.

The full route sees the celebrations start close to the club’s stadium on Whitehorse Lane.

Palace’s players will travel on the bus down the long road before turning left onto Park Road and then right onto Holmesdale Road.

It means the bus will drive up to Selhurst Park and around one side of the ground, with the proceedings planned to end at around 1:45pm.

However, the open-top bus parade isn’t the only party planned on Monday afternoon.

From 2:30pm, Oliver Glasner and co will enter Selhurst Park for a party on the pitch.

The club have explained that there will be live entertainment and special guests while end-of-season awards will be handed out.

They also hint at some FA Cup trophy lifts too, of course.

Fans were able to claim a free ticket for the event inside Selhurst Park on Friday, with standing and seated tickets available.

Glasner will be delighted to have the chance to celebrate alongside the supporters again after praising them earlier this week.

He said: “It’s good to repeat it again: they had a huge impact, not just in the Final.

“For me now, it’s where we are. Everybody is in a great mood, then it’s easier to be a fan.

“Now we have many fans, but we had our fans always next to us, even when we had bad times.

“At the start of the season…and it was not long ago we conceded 10 goals in two away games. But the fans supported us. The fans supported the team.

“Everybody. We were always together. This is why we are now celebrating all together.

“This is a big credit to our fans.”
