Did you want Florian Wirtz?
We are taking a one-day hiatus from our season superlatives to hit on this topic: “Did Bayern Munich miss a golden opportunity or dodge a bullet when Florian Wirtz chose Liverpool?”
To the author, getting Wirtz was going to be an incredible move. A jolt would have been provided to the squad and the attacking group would have been the most dangerous and creative in the world.
Some others, however, think the excessive transfer fee and salary package that would have been used on Wirtz will be better served being used on multiple positions.
