Bruno Fernandes offered £860,000-a-week to swap Manchester United for Saudi Pro League

TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey understands that the Saudi Pro League is still not giving up on Bruno Fernandes.

We are told that the Pro League are willing to pay Fernandes over €1million-a-week (£860,000-a-week) – with just Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema on more.

Fernandes is believed to be open to the prospect, but has accepted that Manchester United are not looking to let him leave.

The Saudi Pro League have been told by Man United that Fernandes is not available – but we are told that they are not backing away yet.

TBR Football also understands that the Pro League also still have an interest in midfielder Casemiro.

However, Fernandes is one of their prime targets entering the summer window.

What Ruben Amorim has said about Bruno Fernandes future

The Saudi Pro League will have a difficult job on their hands trying to sign Fernandes.

Not only are Man United unwilling to sell him, but Amorim is also eager to retain his services.

Amorim recently confirmed that Fernandes is not leaving Manchester United anytime soon.

He said: “Sometimes, the frustration that you see, everybody sees and say maybe that it’s not a good thing in a captain, it’s a sign that he wants this so bad. So, this is the kind of player we want.”

Amorim added: “And he’s not going anywhere, because I already told him!”
