The summer transfer window is upon us, and Arsenal have work to do.
Arsenal will sign a new striker this summer, and after falling short in the Premier League and the Champions League this term, a new number nine can’t come through the door quickly enough at the Emirates.
Arsenal have been linked with a number of striker options in recent times.
Alexander Isak is an Arsenal target, while Benjamin Sesko has been linked to Arsenal too.
On top of that, Viktor Gyokeres is an Arsenal target, and speaking on the Highbury Squad YouTube channel, Ben Jacobs has shared how Andrea Berta views Gyokeres and what he thinks would happen if the Sporting striker came to the Emirates.

Andrea Berta thinks Viktor Gyokeres would hit the ground running
Jacobs shared what he knows about Gyokeres and how Andrea Berta thinks the striker would do for Arsenal.
According to the journalist, Berta believes Gyokeres would hit the ground running if he signed for Arsenal, claiming that Arsenal also believe the forward would happily sign for the club if a bid was made.
“Who do they go for between Sesko and Gyokeres? It all depends on the internal conversation,” Jacobs said.
“Berta has genuinely brought Gyokeres to the table, because he’s established he can hit the ground running, he’s already played in England and they think that if they bid for him he’ll want to join Arsenal, especially as Manchester United don’t have Champions League football.”
Viktor Gyokeres’ fast start to life at Sporting
Berta believes Gyokeres would hit the ground running if he signed for Arsenal, and there’s good reason to believe that could be the case.
Indeed, Gyokeres doesn’t seem to take long to adapt to his new surroundings, as he showed when he signed for Sporting.
Gyokeres has been incredible for Sporting, and he certainly hit the ground running when he arrived in Portugal.

Of course, the Portuguese League isn’t the same as the Premier League, but there’s no question about Gyokeres’ ability to adapt quickly.
Arsenal need to have a bright start next season, and Gyokeres could be the perfect signing to kickstart their title charge next term.
