All in their hands.

Bayern Munich went on the road and enjoyed a strong victory over a struggling FC Köln side to keep a solid advantage on top of the Frauen-Bundesliga.

Left-back Carolin Simon got things going early with a stellar strike from range — a powerful hit from just outside of the box that found its way past keeper Aurora Mikalsen in the lower near post corner.

Just past half an hour, Klara Bühl assisted Pernille Harder with a cross from deep that the Danish international nodded onward and in despite being a fair distance away from goal. Bühl played provider again in the second half to complete the rout, this time from a free kick but otherwise similar to the second goal: a deep ball into the box, with Sydney Lohmann getting on the end of it this time, again hardly from point-blank range.

Köln did not register a shot on goal and Bayern had more chances to score, including a sizzling hit from range by Alara Șehitler in the closing minutes.
