PSG has confirmed its 22-man traveling party to take on Liverpool in the Champions League this midweek with head coach Luis Enrique set to face the media later today.

The Ligue 1 side rested players over the weekend with Marquinhos among those who was given the day off. The Brazilian defender will come back into the starting XI at Anfield.

Enrique has no injury concerns with a full roster of players making the trip to England. PSG will train at Anfield ahead of the game later today and then the game is at 8pm UK time (3pm ET) on Tuesday.

Liverpool won 1-0 at the Parc des Princes last Wednesday with Alisson Becker in inspired form. Harvey Elliott netted a late winner for Arne Slot’s side after replacing Mohamed Salah late on.

“I think it was maybe the first time this season that I saw this tempo,” Slot said. “I think Paris St Germain showed the right example. They played Lille in incredible intensity, 4-0 up at half-time.

“Then they played against us and that intensity, I haven’t seen that before in any game this season. When I look at the game against Paris St Germain, we have to go one step up in terms of intensity. And if I compare it with the game today, we have to go three, four, five, six, seven steps up in terms of the intensity if we want to have any chance of reaching the next round.”

Paris Saint-Germain players.

Goalkeepers: Gianluigi Donnarumma, Matvei Safonov, Arnau Tenas.

Defenders: Lucas Hernandez, Nuno Mendes, Lucas Beraldo, Willian Pacho, Presnel Kimpembe, Marquinhos, Achraf Hakimi.

Midfielders: Fabian Ruiz, Vitinha, Lee Kang-in, Senny Mayulu, Warren Zaire-Emery, Joao Neves.

Forwards: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Bradley Barcola, Goncalo Ramos, Ibrahim Mbaye, Ousmane Dembele, Desire Doue.

Liverpool.com says: Liverpool will have to play much better than last week to go through but that should be possible, not least with home advantage. With the Premier League title nearly wrapped up, this is the ideal time to go far in Europe. Slot’s men will likely play Aston Villa in the next round should they get over the line against PSG and should be confident of holding onto their one-goal lead.
