All of the focus at Liverpool right now is on the title race, but there is a rather important summer transfer window on the horizon.
Indeed, while things couldn’t be going better for Liverpool on the pitch right now, there are some issues off the pitch that need addressing in the summer.
Trent Alexander-Arnold could be Real Madrid-bound, while Darwin Nunez could leave Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
Meanwhile, Jamie Carragher says Liverpool need a left-back, and the Reds have been linked with some new left-back options.
Milos Kerkez is a Liverpool target heading into the summer, while Antonee Robinson has been linked with a move to Liverpool too with a £40m pricetag mooted.
Speaking to ESPN, Antonee Robinson has been discussing his links to Liverpool, and he says that these stories should be taken with a grain of salt.
Interestingly, Robinson says that he often gets messages from his friends and family about signing for Liverpool, but he often urges those close to him to ignore those stories.
Antonee Robinson discusses Liverpool links
Robinson spoke about his recent links and the noise around his future at Fulham.
The defender says that he tries to ignore any transfer stories around himself, claiming that he often hears about his links to Liverpool via his friends and family.
However, he often tells those close to him to ignore those rumours, claiming that they are just stories.
“I’ve been in the game long enough now to kind of know you have to block out the outside noise and things like that because I’ve been on the end of it when I’ve not been playing well,” Robinson said.
“I saw criticism when I was younger, seeing people doubting me and things. So I know that there’s two sides to the coin.
“You just have to take everything with a grain of salt. You have to believe in yourself and when things are going bad, focus on yourself, and when things are going good, focus on keeping going.
“So, transfer rumours and stuff like that, I try not to look at. Especially like with the Liverpool one, all my friends and family are from Liverpool, so it’s more of them messaging me than me seeing newspaper stuff. And I have to say, look, it’s just, just a story in the paper and anyone who’s doing well is going to get linked to a team.”
What Antonee Robinson said about playing at Anfield
Robinson is saying that people should ignore his links to Liverpool, but the full-back does have some fond memories of Anfield.
Indeed, speaking earlier this season, Robinson actually said that Anfield was the best stadium he’s ever played at.
“Best atmosphere or experience. Unfortunately because we lost it was probably Anfield, that 4-3. That was the one, they were just willing the ball into the goal in that game it felt like,” Robinson said.
Robinson does enjoy playing in front of the Anfield atmosphere, but he doesn’t have the best of records when he does head to Anfield, winning just once at the Reds’ ground.

Whether or not a summer move comes to fruition remains to be seen, but, at the moment, it would appear that Robinson isn’t paying too much attention to this speculation.
