Will there be new blood on Germany’s backline?

Bayern Munich will face Inter Milan in the quarterfinals of the Champions League and one of the players that the Bavarians will have to deal with is defender Yann Aurel Bisseck.

Bisseck has performed admirably for Inter Milan this season and has allegedly thrust himself onto the radar of German national team coach Julian Nagelsmann. When asked about those rumors, Bisseck played coy.

“I won’t speak about it. I’ll wait until Thursday, I’m optimistic. Let’s see,” Bisseck told Prime Video (as captured by @iMIaSanMia).

The 24-year-old center-back could find a way on to the roster, but getting playing time might not be all that easy. Surely, though, this would be a selection that would impact the status of others. Who will make the cut? We’ll find out on Thursday
