Report: Bayern Munich are now set to offer another player to Tottenham this summer along with Mathys Tel

Tottenham Hotspur have built a fantastic relationship with Bayern Munich in recent years.

The North Londoners sold Harry Kane in a huge deal to the German giants in 2023. Six months later, they sent Eric Dier to the Allianz Arena too.

Daniel Levy used the same relationship to secure a deal for Mathys Tel in the winter window. The Frenchman joined on loan until the end of the season, and Spurs have an option to make that move permanent this summer.

When those talks happen in July, Tottenham are set to be presented with a chance to sign another talented Bayern Munich attacker.

Bayern Munich set to offer Kingsley Coman to Tottenham during Mathys Tel talks

Kingsley Coman’s future has been up in the air since last summer.

The Frenchman has been a fantastic player for Bayern over the years, but he is no longer a guaranteed starter under Vincent Kompany.

The German giants were ready to offload Coman in each of the last two windows, and he was linked with several clubs as well.

But, no move materialised in the end.

Tottenham have been linked with Coman ahead of the summer window, as have Newcastle United and Liverpool among other clubs.

Now, GiveMeSport have claimed that Bayern are set to offer Coman to Spurs when the two clubs sit down for talks over Tel this summer.

It has been claimed that Spurs, and other clubs who want him, will be given an opportunity to sign the France international for as little as £30 million once the window opens.

The problem Tottenham could face if they try to sign Coman

When fit, Coman is one of the best wingers in Europe.

The Frenchman can play comfortably on either wing and has the ability to cause problems to every full-back on the planet. Coman is still only 28 as well, which means he has a few more years left in the tank.

Signing the Bayern attacker won’t be a bad move, but there is a huge stumbling block in front of Spurs if they are to pursue a move for him – his wages.

The report claims that Coman earns around £275,000-a-week at Bayern, which is more than any Spurs player right now.

So, if Tottenham are to sign the winger, he will have to lower his wages.
