Live football match for World Down Syndrome Day! 💙

Everton in the Community will be streaming live from the Cruyff Court this Thursday evening to mark World Down’s Syndrome Day.

Players from its disability sides will be taking part in a fixture to mark the occasion with its Down’s Syndrome team one of 13 teams that represent Everton in the Community in regional and national tournaments.

Teams will be managed by Club Ambassadors, Ian Snodin and Graham Stuart with commentary live on YouTube and Facebook from 6.20pm.

Taking place at the EitC Campus, located just 500 metres away from Goodison Park, as well as showcasing the charity’s disability provision, the night will also reaffirm Everton in the Community’s long-term commitment to the area in Liverpool 4 once the Club moves to its new waterfront home next season.

Everton in the Community’s disability teams are supported by Spirit Foundation and aims to empower disabled people and provide the same sports and opportunities that their non-disabled peers enjoy.
