Germany vs. Italy will be a battle…

Italy national team manager Luciano Spalletti understands the magnitude of his squad’s UEFA Nations League quarterfinal match vs. Germany.

“The match against Germany always has a certain charm, linked to the past of two very strong national teams. I am convinced that it will be a great match, with both teams playing to win. We will play our match. They will bring the quality they have, forcing us to choose how to face it, but we want to win,” said Spalletti (as captured by UEFA.com).

Both teams are dealing with key injuries, so the overall depth and quality of the rosters will be tested. Does Germany have what it takes to win at San Siro?
