Brazzo’s back!

Ever since losing his sporting director gig at Bayern Munich following their last Bundesliga title win, Hasan Salihamidžić (better known to many as Brazzo) has been lying relatively low, without showing any explicit intention to return to the sport. However, in a surprising turn of events, he has made his long-awaited comeback: as the president of a football club…in Gerard Piqué’s Kings League.

Yeah. You read that right.

Now, in case you aren’t familiar with it, the Kings League, founded by Gerard Piqué, is a seven-a-side football tournament with 12 teams and 2 guest players on each team. Since its inception, it has received praise and criticism alike for its innovative approach and unorthodox rules such as wild cards.

Brazzo will be the president of the club No Rules FC in the new and upcoming German league, tasked primarily with drafting players. It is certainly quite interesting to see Brazzo go from sporting director of FC Bayern to president of a seven-a-side club that is yet to play a single game: how do you think it will play out? What do you think of Brazzo making his return in such a remarkably unconventional fashion? And most importantly, will No Rules FC be lucky to have him? Tell us everything in the comments below!
