TBR Football can exclusively reveal that Xavi Simons is ready to leave RB Leipzig in the summer.
Xavi Simons is one of the best young midfielders in the world and his potential availability could give several top European clubs the chance to sign a truly outstanding talent.
Simons rejected Arsenal and Liverpool last summer as he went on an initial loan move to RB Leipzig, which was made permanent in January.
But the 21-year-old’s brilliance is no longer breaking news, with the late Kevin Campbell admitting Simons “destroyed” Arsenal when the Gunners lost 2-0 to PSV in the Europa League back in 2022.
Now, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Newcastle United have all been linked with the Dutchman’s signature.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Man United informed they could sign Xavi Simons
Graeme Bailey — TBR Football’s chief correspondent has now been told that Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Newcastle United have been informed about Simons’ potential availability this summer.
RB Leipzig are willing to let the former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder leave but their asking price is currently set at £50 million.
TBR Football understands that a next move involving Simons, who Manchester City admired in the past is being worked upon by his representatives and intermediaries.
Ronaldo Koeman described Simons as a “great player” and both Chelsea as well as his former club Barcelona are aware of that being the case as well.
However, both Chelsea and Barcelona are unlikely to pursue a move for the La Masia graduate as they have more essential priorities to address in the transfer market.
What Kylian Mbappe said about Xavi Simons
Simons has had the fortunate experience of playing with some of the biggest names in football from a young age.
Some of the illustrious names include the likes of Neymar, Virgil van Dijk and Kylian Mbappe.
Mbappe admitted Simons was killing France when they drew 0-0 against the Netherlands at Euro 2024.
The Real Madrid superstar was heard telling Memphis Depay after his stunning strike was disallowed: “Hey, I was thinking he was killing us!”
Whether any one out of Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United or Newcastle decide to take a punt on Simons in the summer transfer window will be interesting to see develop.
