Another one…

Per a release from its club website, Bayern Munich announced that star attacker Jamal Musiala has a torn hamstring:

FC Bayern will be without Jamal Musiala for the time being. Following a scan by the German record champions’ medical team, it’s been confirmed the 22-year-old attacker suffered a muscle tear in his left hamstring during the 3-1 win at FC Augsburg in the Bundesliga on Friday night.

If you are wondering how long “the time being” might be, well, Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg might know:

Bad news for FC Bayern: We‘ve been told Jamal #Musiala is expected to be out for up to eight weeks!

He has suffered a structural muscle injury (muscle bundle tear) in his thigh.

Musiala is hoping to be back towards the end of the season for a potential Champions League final and the Nations League Final Four.

Of all the seasons where Bayern Munich has been ravaged by injuries, this one might be the most insane.
