Arsenal are in Premier League action this Saturday as they head to Everton in the day’s early kick-off.

The Gunners will look to narrow the gap to Premier League leaders Liverpool back down to nine points ahead of the Reds’ trip to Fulham on Sunday.

Arsenal have had a fair few injury issues to deal with this season, with the likes of Gabriel Magalhaes, Riccardo Calafiori, Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz all currently out.

With that in mind, Mikel Arteta has been calling up a higher number than usual of academy gems to both training and matchday squads.

On Friday, a versatile young attacker inspired by Thierry Henry was spotted in training ahead of the game.

Harriman-Annous was photographed vying with the ball alongside Mikel Merino, who is enjoying a great run as an auxiliary centre-forward.

The teenager has been a fixture in Arsenal’s youth squads this term, making 28 appearances between the Under-18 Premier League, the Premier League 2 and the youth cups.

Harriman-Annous has registered an impressive 13 goals this season, along with two assists.

The Arsenal players Andre Harriman-Annous was inspired by growing up

Harriman-Annous revealed in Arsenal’s Young Gun feature how he wanted to play like Highbury legend Thierry Henry.

However, his Arsenal idols growing up were Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.

“I’ve always been an attacking player, mainly on the wing,” he said.

“Growing up I was told about Thierry Henry and how good he was.

“I’ve seen lots of footage of him online and the range of goals he’d score was incredible, he’s someone that I wanted to play like.

“But I’d say players that I loved watching for Arsenal at the time were Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil. They were my idols.”
