A Champions League clash with Inter Milan is looming.
Bayern Munich is reaching absurd levels of injury crisis now.
Superstar Jamal Musiala was the latest to be felled in the second half of Bayern’s 3-1 win over FC Augsburg on Friday — and he joins a club that includes Dayot Upamecano, Alphonso Davies, and Hiroki Itō.
Just in time for the Champions League quarters against Inter Milan, right?
But head coach Vincent Kompany is keeping as much cool as he can muster.
“First we’ll do the analysis of Inter. We’ll then decide how we want to set up,” Kompany said simply after the Augsburg match (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “We have many players with talent and experience who can help us in different roles. We need everyone. Every fit player has to be ready. Our goal is still to win every game.”
This is going to be the test of the season for the Bavarians…and they will all need to dig deep.
