Roy Keane has pinpointed the ‘huge problem’ facing Manchester United after dismissing Ruben Amorim’s latest claim.
The Red Devils boss believes his side have made progress since his arrival at Old Trafford.

However, the former United captain firmly disagreed with his comments ahead of the Manchester Derby.
Keane appeared as a pundit on Sky Sports’ coverage of the clash with Manchester City on Sunday.
Prior to the match, he was asked what he made of Amorim’s remarks.
In his programme notes, the Portuguese said: “It is clear to see we are making progress in our performances.”
Keane responded by explaining: “Not from what we’re seeing. Whether he’s seeing something on the training ground, a bit more spirit and a bit more fight.
“I don’t see it in the few games I’ve watched recently. Come back to the (Nottingham) Forest game, they got a few plaudits for their possession, being neat and tidy but when people say they were neat and tidy, what the hell does that mean? Being neat and tidy.”
The ex-United midfielder continued: “It’s really important to score goals in football and United’s goal scoring record, the attacking players they’ve got aren’t doing the business.
“That’s where they’ve been really lacking, the goals for. I think even Wolves have scored more goals than them and that’s a huge problem.
“They’re not dynamic, they’re not mobile. They’ve showed a little bit of spirit, a couple of weeks ago at home to Arsenal but the standard of the game wasn’t great, there was no edge to it.
“So I don’t see where the manager is coming from. I wouldn’t agree on that. I’ve not seen that much progress.

“The fact is, they don’t dig in, they lose too many matches. They’ve lost 13 already this year, 14 last season.
“So even when they’re not at their best they don’t dig in, they don’t roll their sleeves up, I don’t like the spine of the team.”
Amorim has lost 11 of his 29 matches across all competitions since succeeding Erik ten Hag in November.
He has also picked up 13 victories across those fixtures but was beaten in midweek.
The loss to Nottingham Forest left his side 14th in the table with eight matches remaining.
Meanwhile, rivals City are 14 points above them in fifth place, but Keane believes his side could get a result.
He added: “I think they’ll get a result today. It’s a derby, hopefully they find some sort of spark.”
Amorim has already beaten Pep Guardiola’s side twice this season, both with Sporting Lisbon and United.
The Red Devils came from behind to win the reverse fixture at the Etihad Stadium back in November.
