Carlo Ancelotti is having issues with his left-back selection and is ready to select one of his top central defenders to start there in a bid to stop Bukayo Saka.

Real Madrid travel to North London on Tuesday evening to face Arsenal in the Champions League quarter-finals and Carlo Ancelotti is having to think carefully about his team selection.

Bukayo Saka is back available for the Gunners and he will be looking to create history for his team by trying to fire them into the semi-finals.

Madrid have been struggling to find a suitable left-back with Ferland Mendy currently out injured. Fran Garcia has been starting there recently, although the Italian coach now has an alternative player in mind.

Carlo Ancelloti is weighing up the possibility of starting David Alaba at left-back for Real Madrid’s clash against Arsenal, according to Miguel Angel Diaz.

Los Blancos will be fully aware that stopping Saka will be key in the tie and the Madrid coach is re-assessing his left-back options.

Fran Garcia has been playing there in the absence of Ferland Mendy, although the Spaniard has struggled to convince.
