Brahim Diaz responds when asked which Arsenal players he’s worried about facing in the Champions League

Real Madrid face Arsenal in the Champions League on Tuesday evening in what could be the tie of the round.

This is a clash of the giants as Arsenal host the reigning European champions and look to end their dominance in this competition in recent years.

Speaking to Real Madrid’s TikTok page, Brahim Diaz has been previewing this match, and he’s been asked which Arsenal player he thinks the Spaniards need to keep an eye on.

Diaz has been linked to Arsenal recently, and he says that there isn’t a particular player he thinks Madrid need to watch, claiming that the Gunners play as a team.

Brahim Diaz responds to Arsenal question

Diaz responded when asked which Arsenal players he thinks Madrid need to keep an eye on.

The Spaniard refused to single out any individual, saying that the whole team is solid and Madrid need to be solid.

“Brahim, which players do you think we have to keep a close eye on?” Diaz was asked.

“I think they play as a team to be honest. I will not name only one player. We need to be focused on what they do and expect everything from them because they will play against Madrid and they know how we are in the Champions League and how focused we are here,” Diaz said.

The Arsenal player who has tormented Real Madrid

Diaz didn’t single out any particular player from Arsenal, but the Gunners do have a player who has tormented Real Madrid in the past.

Indeed, Gabriel Jesus has a stellar record against Real Madrid from his time at Manchester City.

Gabriel Jesus record vs Real Madrid
Games 4
Wins 3
Draws 1
Losses 0
Goals 3
Assists 1

Unfortunately for Arsenal, Jesus will not be playing in this game.

Jesus has been sidelined with injury for a long time now, and he’s not expected to return to action until next year after his ACL injury.

Other than that, Arsenal don’t have many players who have history with Real Madrid.

Oleksandr Zinchenko, similarly to Jesus, has played against Madrid with Man City on a number of occasions, while Jorginho has faced Real Madrid four times with Chelsea, winning two of those games and grabbing an assist.

Arsenal will have to be at their best if they’re going to beat Madrid on Tuesday, that’s for sure.
