In the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals, Declan Rice scored two tremendous free kicks for Arsenal against Real Madrid.

Arsenal were set to host the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals against Real Madrid, looking forward to secure a positive result at home. The Gunners delivered the first blows in the series after midfielder Declan Rice scored two astonishing free kicks.

Arsenal started strong the second half, with Bukayo Saka earning a foul from outside the box. Rice stepped up to take the free kick, and in the 58th minute he made a ferocious strike to put the home side in front.

But the same sequence happened minutes after. After Saka was fouled by Eduardo Camavinga, that earned a yellow card, and Rice appeared as the responsible to take the free kick once again. The Englishman doubled the stakes, putting the ball in the top corner to give Arsenal a 2-0 advantage.
