In case you may have forgotten, Bayern Munich is set to welcome Tom Bischof from Hoffenheim in the summer. At 19 years old, he is already a key player for his present team Hoffenheim, and their coach thinks that Bischof can elevate his game in Munich.
“He’s making a great development. He’s a cornerstone of this team and performs week in week out; he has incredible potential,” Hoffenheim coach Christian Iler said (as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia). “I would’ve liked to have him here for longer, but I trust him to establish himself at FC Bayern and become a national team player. It’s his first season where he’s a regular starter and his development has been superb. Hopefully he will carry on in the last six games and hopefully today wasn’t his last goal for the club.”
Despite the Bavarians being in the midst of sorting out their current roster, Bischof can easily slot into the starting lineup.
