Sandro Tonali opened the scoring for Newcastle United against Manchester United in style with a stunning volley as the Magpies went on to win 4-1 at St. James’ Park.
The former AC Milan midfielder was on the scoresheet alongside Bruno Guimaraes while Harvey Barnes scored a brace to make life even worse for Ruben Amorim and Co.
Alejandro Garnacho levelled the scores for Manchester United with a delightful finish but his goal seemed to be the much-needed wake-up call Newcastle needed to put the game to bed.
The hosts certainly did and took another step towards qualifying for the Champions League.

A third supporter expressed just how entertaining he finds the Italian to watch: “I could watch Sandro Tonali play football all day, all week and all year. Magnificent footballer.”
A fourth Newcastle fan raved about Tonali as he starred against Manchester United, simply saying: “Sandro Tonali is an absolute baller!”
A fifth supporter added: “Tonali is really different gravy, isn’t he?”
Finally, a sixth Newcastle fan also hailed Tonali’s performance against Manchester United and claimed he is their best player: “I actually can’t put into words how much I love Sandro Tonali. Our best player.”
It’s clear to see how adored the 24-year-old is by the St. James’ Park faithful.

Newcastle fans have every right to love Tonali as he showed against Manchester United as well as Liverpool recently that he is up there amongst one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.
