Der Klassiker edition.
Bayern Munich’s Der Klassiker match with Borussia Dortmund went from a snoozer in the first half to a feast for the neutrals in the second…but ended a maddeningly inconsistent 2-2 draw.
Lots of storylines and lots of other places we’ll cover those so I’ll just say it. Thomas Müller was a sight for sore eyes. The Raumdeuter was out there, Raumdeutering his best…organizing the high press, firing dangerous shots and passes. Perhaps it was the fatigue of everyone else around him but Müller, at 35, looked fresh as ever and like he could do this another three, four, five years.
Alas that is not to be. We as Bayern fans are going to miss him so much.
