Spanish club Real Betis want ₤35 million for teenage winger Jesus Rodríguez, who is being linked with a summer move to Chelsea.

The Spanish under-19 international has enjoyed a break-out season with the La Liga side, and his rapid pace, allied with his ability to take on defenders and willingness to do his share of defensive work as well have seen clubs around Europe take notice of his progress.

Primarily a left-footed winger who cuts inside onto his right flank, he can also play on the other flank as well, and several times he has relaced Antony, who is on loan from Manchester United.

Chelsea have already bought another winger in the form of Geovany Quenda, but he is to remain with his parent club, Sporting until 2026. That has not stopped them looking for more wide attacking options, especially as there is a growing likelihood that they will not take up their option on Jadon Sancho, and he will return to Manchester United instead.
