Myles Lewis-Skelly is one of many incredibly talented youngsters at Arsenal.
The Gunners have one of the best academies in world football, and they have produced a few exceptional young players in recent seasons.
Bukayo Saka is the pick of the bunch, while the likes of Emile Smith Rowe, Eddie Nketiah and Reiss Nelson have all played at the top level.
Lewis-Skelly is a part of the new generation, and he has been sensational this season, along with his good pal and long-time teammate, Ethan Nwaneri.
Arsenal star Myles Lewis-Skelly hails Ethan Nwaneri’s left foot
Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri are on their way to becoming superstars.
The two Hale End graduates are having their breakthrough season in the Arsenal senior team, and both players have been magnificent.
Lewis-Skelly has been more of a regular at left-back, but Nwaneri played plenty of games for Arsenal this season due to Saka’s three-month injury layoff.
What has stood out about young Nwaneri is the way he cuts inside and curls the ball into the back of the net – he makes it look so easy.
In a video released on Arsenal’s social channels, Lewis-Skelly revealed that Nwaneri has had that ability since they were kids. The duo looked back on a similar goal he scored for the Arsenal youth side back in the day.
When Nwaneri asked Lewis-Skelly if he remembers any important games they played together while growing up, he said: “The one that I remember was in Japan, in the final. I assisted you.
“I remember playing you through and Ethan doing his magic. Just that left foot of his, man, it’s special, from young!”
While re-watching the goal, Lewis-Skelly said: “Look at that! Copy and paste! Doesn’t change! What a finish, Eth!”
The one thing that makes Ethan Nwaneri so special
Nwaneri is one of the best attacking talents of his age in the world.
The way he has performed for Arsenal this season is just incredible, and the fact that he is still only 18 means he will get even better in the coming years.
What makes Nwaneri incredibly special is his ability to cut inside and score the same type of goals again and again.
England U21s boss Lee Carsley said after Nwaneri scored a similar goal in March: “Everyone knows exactly what’s going to happen, but you just cannot stop it.”
That is very true, and we’re sure he will become even more efficient with that move in the coming years.
