Where would you rank Musiala’s future career?
At the age of 17, Jamal Musiala burst onto the scene at Bayern Munich and showcased his unique ability to put defenders on ice skates. At the age of 20, his 89th-minute goal against FC Köln snatched the title away from Dortmund. He has scored double-digit goals in the past three seasons and just signed a monster contract that keeps him at Bayern through 2030.
Musiala’s path has tracked on the same trajectory as some of the game’s greatest players. For the rest of his twenties, whose career is he most likely to replicate?
- Lionel Messi: 13 straight 20-goal seasons at FC Barcelona, double-digit league trophies, multiple Champions League titles, and the elusive World Cup
- Eden Hazard: Five double-digit goal seasons at Chelsea, two league trophies, non-contributor on Champions League winner (Real Madrid)
- Marcus Rashford: Four double-digit goal seasons at Manchester United, no league trophies, handful of domestic cups and Europa League winner
