Tottenham fans should expect a significant summer of change.
Tough decisions will need to be made after a dismal 2024/25 campaign under Ange Postecoglou – with Tottenham 16th in the Premier League after losing 19 out of 34 games this season.
Only the three relegated sides have suffered more defeats.

Postecoglou could be sacked even if Tottenham win the UEFA Europa League, while several players could be sold – in fact, one has already been told he is leaving.
Tottenham and Bryan Gil mutually decide to part ways
Bryan Gil has now revealed that he is planning to leave Spurs this summer, with Tottenham and the Spaniard both on the same page.
Estadio Deportivo quote the £21.6m forward – who is currently on loan at Girona – as saying: “They (Spurs) told me, and I told them, that the best thing is for us not to continue being linked to Tottenham, but there’s no problem or bad vibes, quite the opposite.
“They bet on me when I was young and they’ve treated me fairly well, but if I have to go back there I’ll focus on giving my best as always.”
Gil made 43 appearances in total for Tottenham following his £21.6m move from Sevilla back in July 2021 – a deal which saw Erik Lamela move the other way – failing to score but providing two assists.
Spurs set to save a significant portion of cash in terms of wages
Surprisingly, Gil earns £83,000-a-week from his contract with Tottenham, according to Salary Sport.

That is more than the likes of Destiny Udogie, Brennan Johnson, Dominic Solanke, Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall earn – all of whom are key players under Postecoglou.
Therefore, offloading the 24-year-old should mean Tottenham are able to offer a transfer target an attractive salary from the money saved, such as Tyler Dibling, who Spurs want to sign.
