Real Madrid are ready to offer Chelsea ₤40 million plus Turkish starlet Arda Güler for Enzo Fernandez.
The Spanish giants are looking to rebuild their midfield this summer, and have identified Fernandez as one of their transfer targets. Although the Argentine World Cup winner has sometimes divided opinion among Chelsea supporters they do not want to lose him, although Real also know that their business model is now based on selling players at a profit.
There have also been previously suggestions that Fernandez has found it difficult to settle in London and he would prefer a move to a Spanish-speaking country.
And adding Güler into the mix is seen as a way of baiting the hook further. The 20-year old is regarded as one of the most exciting young talents in Europe, but he has become frustrated by his lack of first team opportunities under Carlo Ancelotti.
Arsenal have also been linked with a move to Güler who remained on the bench for both of their Champions League quarter-final ties with Real.
